Welcome to RAG! We are ‘Raise and Give’, the SUSU fundraising department.
Basically, we raise money and give it away (to charity obviously, not just anyone). RAG organises activities and events throughout the year, and they’re amazing.
2009/10 is going to see SUSU’s first ever Freshers’ festival, RAGfest09, along with an Amsterdam trip, Christmas Ball and skydiving! Watch this space.
RAG has nominated three charities to support in 2009/10. These are:
-Naomi House Children’s Hospice
The committee must have been feeling maternal on voting day. We’ll have some one-off events for other charities, but most RAG fundraisers will benefit these three.
RAG can also help you to organise your own events.
There might be a particular charity you care about, or you might have an outRAGeous (get it?) idea that we haven’t already thought of.
It’s unlikely, but you can give it a go. We’re always up for trying new things.

Every student is automatically a member of RAG; there’s no subscription or membership fee or whatever.
However, you can get involved as much or as little as you like. Here are the options:
1. Come to RAG Events or Raids and have a wicked time.
2. Join the RAG Mailing List so you don’t miss out on anything.
3. Organise your own charity event.
4. Get your club, society or mates to organise a charity event.
5. Join the RAG Committee!
