Who can join?......
Anyone can join our mailing list and facebook group to find out what RAG is up to and what events are coming up and come along to support us. If you want to do that bit more everyone is welcome to help organise and run events and even join our committee... you can do as little or as much as you like!
Clubs and Societies...
Southampton University Students\' Union (or SUSU) is a registered charity, which means that it, and its affiliated clubs, societies and departments, cannot donate to other charities. This is where RAG comes in; as the University\'s official fundraising department all charitable activities need to be run through us as we are the only people who can write that all important cheque, making your hard work worthwhile! All fundraising events need to be approved by RAG and the relevant members of staff well in advance, so make sure you fill out one of your Events Forms, available from the Student Activities office. Individual Students...
Individual students wanting to fundraise through events are largely bound by the same rules as clubs and societies. Check out our fundraising page for more information, or email us at rag@susu.org.
How?....
RAG is moving with the times and has its own Facebook group - check out "SUSU RAG - we do it on street corners for money!" for all the latest news. You can also join our email list by e-mailing us at rag@susu.org, or alternatively you can drop in and see us in our office, located in the Student Activities office one level one of the union. Go down the stairs by the bridge all the way to the ground floor then walk right to the end of the corridoor, we\'re the door on the right.
RAG is a student-run department, which means that our office is often un-manned as we\'re busy with our degrees! If you\'d like to talk to one of us face-to-face, drop us an email and we\'ll arrange a meeting as soon as possible.
